ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Ameren is reporting thousands of customers without power in the aftermath of severe storms that hit the St. Louis region.
Tommie Bugett, director of Ameren Missouri North Metro tells First Alert 4, “We do not have an approximate time when the customers will be fully restored because we’re still also assessing as we go because as we assess we we discover more damage, so that would also slow down the restoration efforts.”
Around 8:07 p.m., Saturday Ameren Missouri reported 61,057 outages statewide.

- St. Louis County: 39,137
- St. Louis City: 2,155
- Franklin: 3,293
Ameren Illinois reported 14,523 outages around 8:07 p.m. Saturday.

- Monroe: 1,271

“We are working hard to get power restored for the safety of our crews and the safety of our customers,” says Bugett.
According to Ameren, customers can check the status of their restoration at Ameren.com or download the free Ameren app for updates as they become available.
