Jeff McNeil has been activated from the injured list. To make room for him on the roster, Brett Baty was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse. Catcher Hayden Senger was also optioned to Triple-A to make room for Francisco Alvarez, who has not yet been officially activated from the injured list per the Mets’ transaction page, but likely will be ahead of tonight’s game.

Mark Zuckerman of MASN tweeted out the pitching probables for this weekend’s four-game series in DC: Kodai Senga will face off against Jake Irvin in the series opener, followed by Clay Holmes vs. Brad Lord, then Tylor Megill vs. Mitchell Parker, and finally Griffin Canning vs. Trevor Williams in the last game of the series on Monday.

The Phillies designated Kody Clemens for assignment on Wednesday to make room on the roster for Weston Wilson, who was activated from the injured list after dealing with an oblique strain to start the season. The team also said that Cristopher Sánchez will not be sent for imaging after leaving Tuesday’s game against the Mets due to forearm tightness. Instead, he will likely just get pushed back in the rotation or have his turned skipped.

Patrick Monteverde passed through waivers unclaimed, so the Marlins have outrighted him to Triple-A.

The Braves did the same with lefty José Suarez.
